Curtis and Andy will perform and discuss the music, their instruments and their careers with country music fans in the Rotunda of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Legendary 5-string banjo player and Trailblazer Award winner Curtis McPeake has performed or recorded with Bill Monroe, Danny Davis, Lester Flatt, George Jones, Wilma Lee & Stoney Cooper,and many others. Andy May is a guitar and mandolin player as well as a singer, songwriter, and music educator. He is a past winner of the guitar grand championship at the Old Time Fiddler’s Convention (Union Grove, North Carolina) and an IBMA award winner. He has appeared with Merle Haggard, Brownie McGee & Sonny Terry, Nickel Creek, Mike Seeger, Pete Seeger, and others.
