Cindy Baucom Interviews Andy May on “MerleFest Radio Hour:” MerleFest on the Road, Acoustic Kids, and a bit of McPeake & May

The interview, including two cuts from McPeake & May, The Good Things (Outweigh the Bad), starts at 21:07 – about 1/3 of the way through the MerleFest Radio program that aired on March 18.

In the interview, Cindy (host of Knee Deep in Bluegrass) asks Andy about the 2018 MerleFest on the Road tour – which he played with The Barefoot Movement and The Way Down Wanderers, why he started Acoustic Kids in the first place, and a little bit about some Swift River Music projects. Before the interview, DJ Joe Martin Greene played Steel Drivin’ Man, and at the end he played, Grampa’s Mule, both from The Good Things (Outweigh the Bad). You can read more about that project, including notes for all the songs, here.
