Throughout his 70-year career in bluegrass, McPeake has been a member of Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys and stood in for Earl Scruggs.

McPeake & May – “The Good Things” Released: Two Shows Planned!

The new CD from banjo legend Curtis McPeake and Andy May, The Good Things (Outweigh the Bad) was released today. To celebrate, there are two concerts planned: one in Nashville, and one in west Tennessee, where McPeake grew up. Fiddler Aubrey Haynie and bassist Tim Dishman, who played on the project, will round out the band for both shows.
