Intro
Americana pioneer Andy May is an exceptional songwriter, singer, and performer and an award-winning guitarist and mandolinist. He’s played venues from honky-tonks to Carnegie Hall, coffee houses to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and is a regular at MerleFest and Winfield. As a teacher, workshop leader, and record producer, Andy also helps others express themselves musically. Andy started and runs Swift River Music which received the International Bluegrass Music Association 2008 Recorded Event of the Year award for it's release, Everett Lilly & Everybody and Their Brother, on which Andy also played mandolin. Whatever he's involved in, Andy's originality and optimism and his love and respect for our musical roots always shine through. [Read More]

We are also excited to present the music video of Andy’s song "Blackberry Jam" from his album of the same name. The video was directed and produced by Andy’s old friend and bandmate, Tabby Crabb.
